Welcome to the world of

Roseanna M. White

Roseanna’s Books

My books range from intense Biblical fiction love stories to contemporary mysteries, with the majority being historical romance set in the 18th-20th centuries. If you’re looking for Christian romance that’s inspirational, with deep characters and riveting plots, then dive on in!

As wordsmith extraordinaire, White composes prose that holds the cadence of the poets, the wisdom of the muses, and the insight that will transport you seamlessly across time—while coaxing you to tell your own story.

Writing Roseanna

I’ve been blogging weekly for many years. Whether you’re interested in book news, the history that I learn through my research for my books (or just out of my own curiosity), my thoughtful musings on faith, family, and fiction, or my ever-popular Word of the Week etymology posts, there’s something here for you to read!

Word of the Week – Leprechaun
There's a bit of irony in the fact that we use artwork depicting leprechauns to celebrate the feast day of a saint who brought Christianity to Ireland, but...you know. Nothing says "Irish" like St. Pat, shamrocks, and leprechauns, so I thought it would be fun to look...
The Praise and Faith of Despair
A couple weeks ago I received two beautiful books as a gift. Sheltering Mercy and Endless Grace by Ryan Whitaker Smith and Dan Wilt. These are poetic responses to the Psalms, from a Christ-centric point of view. The work itself is beautiful--highly recommened. But it...
Word of the Week – Guy
Guy is a word that, these days, can mean any generic group of people of mixed genders but more specifically, things relating to males. Dudes. Bros. Men. But it started life in the English language meaning "a small rope, wire, or chain." Um...what? Guy is actually...

Tea Party Book Club

What could be better than a book club chat with the author?
How about a tea party?!

Since 2018, I’ve been hosting monthly-or-quarterly Tea Party Book Club events via Zoom. If you purchase a package, you’ll receive a tea-party-in-a-box in the mail, and then we’ll all get together at a set time and chat about that month’s featured book. You can also purchase a seat-only ticket, or go all out and order a starter kit with a vintage cup, a new pot, and more!

Scholarships are available as donations come in.
